Everything you need to know about RediTenant income verification for renters and property professionals.
RediTenant is an income pre-qualification platform. For $30, you verify your income once and receive a RediTenant ID — a shareable proof of income that your realtor or apartment locator can present to properties on your behalf. It helps your realtor or locator go to work for you faster and can help save on application and processing fees at participating properties.
No. RediTenant only verifies your income — we never pull your credit. Your credit score stays completely safe. We connect securely to your payroll provider or review uploaded documents to verify employment and income, with zero impact on your credit.
Most people complete pre-qualification in under 5 minutes. There are three ways to verify your income:
Your RediTenant ID is generated as soon as verification is complete.
$30 for primary applicant verification, valid for 30 days. Co-applicants (roommates or partners) can be added for $15 each. Re-verification after 30 days costs another $30.
They see your verified monthly income, employer name, verification date, and ID validity. They do not see your bank statements, account numbers, or full financial documents unless you have enabled document access in your dashboard preferences.
Yes. In your renter dashboard, you can toggle document access on or off. When enabled, approved property professionals who look up your ID can view your income documents (such as paystubs). When disabled, they see only your verified income summary and status. You can change this preference at any time.
RediTenant does not guarantee lease approval — that decision is always made by the property or landlord. What RediTenant does is give you a verified, credible proof of income that makes you a stronger, more trustworthy applicant. It helps your realtor or locator present you professionally to properties, can reduce or eliminate repeat application fees at participating properties, and speeds up the review process because the income question is already answered before you apply.
Your realtor or locator can present your RediTenant ID to any property on your behalf. Properties with an approved RediTenant account can look up your verification instantly. Others may still request their own documentation — but having pre-verified income always makes you a stronger applicant. Your ID is valid for 30 days because most properties require income documentation that is no more than 30 days old.
Yes. If you're still searching after 30 days, you can re-verify for another $30 to get a fresh RediTenant ID valid for another 30 days. Re-verification generates a new ID — your old one will no longer be valid. We recommend starting your search shortly after verifying to make the most of your 30-day window.
Go to the renter login page and enter your email. We'll send a secure magic link to your inbox — click it to access your dashboard. No password needed. From your dashboard you can view your RediTenant ID, check your expiry, and manage your document sharing preferences.
If we can't verify through your payroll provider, you can upload alternative documents like recent pay stubs, W-2s, or bank statements. If verification still isn't possible, contact infot@reditenant.com — we'll work with you or issue a refund if applicable.
No problem. You can upload bank statements, 1099 forms, tax returns, or earnings summaries. We verify all types of income including self-employment, gig work, and multiple jobs. For best results, upload documents covering the most recent 2-3 months.
RediTenant is built for property professionals who want to provide an elevated experience — to their clients and to the properties they work with. Realtors and apartment locators use it to pre-qualify clients before showings, send branded Guest Cards to property managers, and close deals faster by arriving with verified income in hand. Property managers and landlords use it to receive pre-qualified leads from locators and to proactively invite prospective renters to verify income before applying. If you take your business seriously, RediTenant helps you show it.
A Guest Card is a branded digital card sent by a realtor or locator to a property manager on behalf of their client. It includes the renter's income prequalification, RediTenant ID, verification details, and the referring agent's contact information. Property managers receive it by email and can verify the renter instantly. It replaces the old manual referral process with a professional, verified handoff.
Property professional accounts (locators, realtors, brokerages, and property managers) are $999/year for full platform access. Managing multiple properties? Contact us and we'll structure something that fits your portfolio. All accounts require approval before access is granted.
Log in to your property professional dashboard and use the Lookup ID button. Enter the renter's RediTenant ID to instantly see their verified income, employer, and verification status. Any approved property professional can look up any valid RediTenant ID — you don't need to be the one who invited them.
RediTenant Pro is the property professional membership ($999/year) that gives realtors, locators, brokerages, and property managers full access to the platform — including pre-qualifying clients, looking up RediTenant IDs, sending Guest Cards, viewing verification documents and bank reports, and being listed in the public RediTenant Directory. Apply for access to get started.
From your dashboard, click Invite Renter and enter the renter's email and optionally a property address. They receive an invitation email with a link to complete income verification. Once verified, their RediTenant ID appears in your dashboard and you can send a Guest Card to any property on their behalf.
Verification reports include verified monthly and annual income, employer name, pay frequency, most recent paystub date, verification method (payroll connection or document upload), verification date, and expiration date. Fields not available from the verification source (such as job title from a paystub upload) will be noted as not listed on the document.
No. RediTenant provides income and employment verification only. We are not a Consumer Reporting Agency under the FCRA. For credit reports, background checks, or eviction history, you'll need a licensed screening provider. RediTenant is designed to complement — not replace — your existing screening process.
Payroll-connected verifications pull data directly from the renter's payroll provider (ADP, Gusto, Paychex, etc.), eliminating the risk of forged documents. Document-based verifications are reviewed for authenticity and flagged if suspicious. All verifications include the data source so you know exactly how income was confirmed.
Each verification is valid for 30 days from the date it was completed. The expiration date is clearly shown in your dashboard and on every Guest Card. If a renter's verification has expired, ask them to re-verify before sending a Guest Card.
Submit an application at reditenant-app.vercel.app/property-signup.html. Include your business type, license number if applicable, and a brief description of your intended use. Applications are reviewed manually and you'll receive an email with next steps once approved. Most applications are reviewed within one business day.
RediTenant connects to over 2.3 million employers covering approximately 96% of the U.S. workforce. If you can't find your employer, try searching for your payroll provider instead — check your pay stub for names like ADP, Paychex, Gusto, Workday, Paylocity, or Ceridian. If you still can't connect, select Upload Documents to verify with pay stubs or W-2s instead.
Your payroll provider is usually printed on your pay stub — look in the header or footer for names like ADP, Paychex, Gusto, Workday, Paycom, or Ceridian. You can also check where you log in to view your pay stubs online. If unsure, ask your HR department.
You can reset credentials directly within the verification flow by clicking Forgot Username or Forgot Password. Alternatively, visit your payroll provider's website to reset, then return to complete verification. If your employer uses two-factor authentication (2FA), RediTenant supports codes sent via text or authenticator app.
You can upload recent pay stubs (last 2-3), W-2s, 1099s, or bank statements showing direct deposits. Accepted formats are PDF, JPEG, and PNG. Make sure documents are legible, show your full name and employer, and aren't cut off at the edges.
Verification can fail if payroll login credentials are incorrect, your employer's system is temporarily unavailable, or uploaded documents are unclear or incomplete. Most failures can be resolved by retrying the payroll connection or uploading clearer documents. Contact info@reditenant.com if the issue persists.
Payroll-connected verifications typically complete in under 30 seconds. Document-based verifications may take a few minutes as our system processes your uploads. If verification takes longer than expected, check your email for any follow-up requests.
Yes. You can connect to supported gig platforms directly or upload 1099 forms, bank statements showing deposits, or earnings summaries from your gig apps. Upload documents covering the most recent 2-3 months for best results.
Upload tax returns (including Schedule C), 1099 forms, profit-and-loss statements, or bank statements showing business deposits. If you use accounting software like QuickBooks, you may also be able to connect directly.
Yes. You can connect to each payroll provider or upload documents for each job. Your verification will reflect income from all verified sources.
Income data reflects your payroll records or uploaded documents at the time of verification. If you recently received a raise or changed jobs, it may not reflect until your next pay cycle. For document-based verifications, check that you uploaded the most recent documents. Contact info@reditenant.com if you believe there's an error.
Confirm you're sharing the correct ID format (e.g., RT25-ABC123) and that your verification hasn't expired. Property professionals need an approved RediTenant account to look up verifications. If the property doesn't have an account yet, share your ID with your realtor or locator instead — they can look it up from their dashboard.
Yes. Re-verification costs $30 for a new 30-day period. A fresh verification ensures property professionals see your most current income data. You can re-verify anytime from your renter dashboard or by visiting get-verified.html.
Refunds are available if verification could not be completed and no RediTenant ID was issued. If you received a valid ID, refunds are generally not available since the service was delivered. Contact info@reditenant.com within 7 days of payment to request a refund review.
Yes, but you'll need to use your work computer while connected to the required network. If VPN access isn't practical, select Upload Documents and verify with pay stubs or W-2s instead.
Verify your income once and share it with every property you apply to.
